Under the guidance of Sherry, learn how to process different fruits and vegetables into wonder full jams, jellies or pickles!

Enjoy a relaxing two night stay, and come play in the kitchen! From picking the fruits from the trees or the vegetables from the garden to creating the finished product that you will be able to enjoy on a piece of homemade bread!

Upon arrival the first night enjoy a three or four course meal prepared by Sherry.

After a relaxing and refreshing sleep in a yurt you will spend the next day picking the berries or vegetables from the trees and bushes or garden on the Journey Home property.

We will then return to the kitchen and Sherry will guide you through the process of creating wonderful jams or jellies or pickles from scratch.

Sherry uses the boil down method of canning which does not require any certo. Therefore there is less sugar in the processing.

Relax and unwind on your first night with an enjoyable three/four course foodie experience prepared by Sherry.

After a refreshing first night’s sleep in your yurt, you will be treated to a country breakfast before we get started on your quilt or wall hanging.

You will be guided through the entire process, from creating the pattern and cutting out the material, to sewing your own masterpiece.

You will begin by creating the pattern and cutting out the material. We will then start to sewing the top of the quilt together.

Once the top is complete we will sew on the back and the stuffing for the quilt.

As the completion we will turn everything right side out and then sew up the quilt so that all of the stuffing stays in it's proper place.
